A Letter to Sex workers and strippers

welcome to the club house

dear lovely Sex Workers & Strippers,

to the Strippers, Dancers, and Sex Workers who came before us, stand beside us today, and continue to shape this community every day:

Thank you.

Thank you for your courage, your creativity, your resilience, and your unwavering confidence in a world that has not always celebrated or understood your work.

the pole club house would not exist without you.

long before pole fitness studios filled schedules with classes and competitions, before social media showcased pole artistry to the world, and before pole became recognized as a legitimate athletic discipline, there were dancers and sex workers carrying this art form forward. YOU created spaces where movement, performance, strength, and self-expression could thrive. You kept the culture alive when few others would acknowledge its value.

YOUR labor, talent, and innovation laid the foundation upon which an entire industry was built.

we recognize that pole's history cannot be separated from the contributions of strippers and sex workers. the spins, transitions, tricks, stage presence, confidence, and artistry that inspire so many today were developed, refined, and shared by people whose work is too often overlooked or erased.

we refuse to forget that history.

we honor the countless hours you have spent perfecting your craft. we honor the strength it takes to show up, perform, and navigate a world that often places unfair judgment on your profession. we honor your entrepreneurship, your dedication, your ability to connect with people, and the confidence you inspire in others.

many people discover empowerment through pole. many find community. many learn to love themselves more fully.

that impact exists because of you.

the pole club house is committed to being a space where sex workers and strippers are not simply tolerated—they are welcomed, respected, celebrated, and included. your experiences matter. your voices matter. your expertise matters.

whether you identify as a stripper, dancer, entertainer, sex worker, instructor, studio owner, competitor, or enthusiast, you belong here.

as we continue building this community, we do so with gratitude for those who paved the way. we hope to contribute to a future where the origins of pole are acknowledged, where respect replaces stigma, and where everyone who loves this art can find connection and support.

Thank you for your contributions, your influence, and your continued presence within this community.

With love and gratitude,
the pole club house team
